GUEST FAQS

When is Night to Shine 2021?

As a result of the global circumstances of COVID-19, Night to Shine 2021 will involve two separate events: Shine-Thru on February 5, 2021 and Virtual Night to Shine hosted by the Tim Tebow Foundation on February 12, 2021.

Where is Night to Shine held?

Southwest Florida Night to Shine is hosted by New Hope Ministries in Naples, FL. Our Shine-Thru event will be held at the Collier County Fairgrounds at:

751 39th Ave NE

Naples, FL 34120

The Virtual Night to Shine will be an online experience that you can join from your computer at home. Details on this event will be provided by the Naples Night to Shine team via email.

Who is invited to Night to Shine?

Any person with a physical, cognitive, or developmental disability who is age 14 and up.

How much will it cost for a guest to attend Night to Shine?

Night to Shine is free of charge for all of our guests and their parents/caretakers!

What can I expect at Night to Shine?

As a result of the global circumstances of COVID-19, Night to Shine 2021 will look a little different but through God’s blessing and our community's involvement, we pray it will still bless hundreds of honored guests with special needs!

At Shine-Thru every guest will drive in on a 'red carpet' complete with a warm welcome from a friendly crowd and paparazzi. As they drive the route of Shine-Thru, guests will experience spectacular decorations, live music, dinner for our guests and family members, and take-home prom favors.

Virtual Night to Shine will include music, special guests, dancing, a crowning ceremony where each honored guest will be crowned a king or queen of the prom and more! Through the Night to Shine Virtual Experience, we are excited to celebrate not only guests who  have attended Night to Shine in person, but also many individuals with special needs who have not attended before.

Both nights are a time not only for guests to shine, but for churches to shine, for volunteers to shine, and most importantly, for Christ to shine.

How will guests experience Shine-Thru?

Shine-Thru is an outdoor, drive-thru experience. Guests and their families/caretakers will enter the fairgrounds and follow the route in their own vehicles.

What precautions are being taken for the safety of guests, their families and volunteers at Shine-Thru?

The safety of our guests, their families and our volunteers is a top priority for us. We have worked on finding a solution that enables us to celebrate our guests in a special way while maintaining a safe environment for all. Guests and their families will be asked to remain in their cars throughout Shine-Thru, and all volunteers will be required to wear a mask and spread out to limit contact. We want everyone to feel safe participating and attending!

Can parents/caretakers/families attend Shine-Thru with guests?

Yes! One of the benefits of Shine-Thru is that any family members and/or caretakers are welcome to attend with guests. However, we must limit take-home meals to only 3 per vehicle (1 guest meal + 2 parent/caretaker/family meals).

How will guests experience Virtual Night to Shine?

Night to Shine this year will be an entirely virtual experience - this means that guests will experience Night to Shine via a virtual video conference call with Tim Tebow and his special guests that you will join from the comfort of your own home. A link and information on how to join the virtual call will be sent via email to you after you have registered for the event. We recommend ensuring you have a good internet connection and a computer or other device with video and sound capabilities.

Do guests have to register for and attend both events?

No; guests can choose to attend just one or both events. When registering, you will be asked which events you are registering for and you can select all that you plan to attend.

What do I need to do to attend?

Guest registration will open on December 6th and guests can register for either Shine-Thru or the Virtual Night to Shine, or both! You can register on our website here.

Is there a cutoff date for guest registration?

All guests must register by January 25, 2021.

Do I need to complete any other forms prior to attending Night to Shine?

All attendees must complete and return a Media Consent form. Download a copy below and be sure to return it via email prior to Night to Shine or bring it with you on the evening of Night to Shine.
